Directions
On Foot From the railway station: - Turn left out of the station towards the Minster. - Cross the river via Landal Bridge. - At the first set of traffic lights, turn left on to Exhibition Square. Take the next left at the lights, to Bootham. - Take the 3rd left turn in to Bootham Terrace (just before you reach the Churchill Hotel). - Continue until the road opens out, look right, and there we stand (10 minutes walk). By Car From the South , via the A64: - Travel east on the A64. - Take the A1237 and continue for 5 miles, following signs to Thirsk (A19). - At the roundabout that intersects the A19, turn right (York), continue for 2 miles. - Look out for a large hotel on your left: The Churchill. - Take the first right after the hotel: Bootham Terrace. Continue until the road opens out, look right, and there we stand. From Hull (the East): - After reaching York on the 1079, turn left down the A64 section of the ring road. - Then, take the A1237 until the A19 intersection. - Turn left for York, and continue for 2 miles. - Look out for a large hotel on your left: The Churchill. - Follow as above.
