The 3-star Hedley House Hotel is situated in a quiet residential area, 500 metres from York Minster and 8-minute walk of York city centre, bus and rail stations.

The hotel boasts a 6-people hot tub, a sauna, and an on-site beauty therapist. Under the same family ownership since 1984, all rooms feature a large flat-screen TV with Freeview channels. Hedley House was tastefully converted in 1984 from two Victorian town houses and has now expanded to include two interconnecting houses of self-catering apartments and 11 more spacious quality rooms. It has its own private car park, and there is a lounge bar and three dining rooms where award-winning, home-cooked evening meals and breakfasts are served. Food is made from locally sourced ingredients, and light snacks are also available.
