By Car from the South - M1/M18/A1M/A1 - Road: Leave the A1 taking the A64 signed for York and Scarborough, then leave the A64 for the A1036, signed for York West. Travel towards the city and you will pass The Holiday Inn then The Marriott Hotel on your right. Then you will see the racecourse on your right. As the racecourse is coming to an end look to your left for St George s Place (the bus lane starts at the end of our road). br/ br/ By Car from the North A1 South - Road: Leave at the junction of the A59 for York and travel towards the centre until you pass under an iron girder bridge. You need to turn right straight after this. Shortly you will get to some traffic lights, turn right. Travel down the hill (called The Mount), you will see the Newington Hotel on your left, straight after this look to your right for St George s Place. br/ br/ York Train Station - Train: Taxis: Outside the station, it costs around �6 - �7.
